Different from the Jira standard function “Link Issues” which is based on the relationship between the current issue and the linked issue, Stepwise Job is linking issues for achieving a completion of one final goal. Its only purpose is to complete all issues step by step so it doesn’t care about the exact relationship between the issues at all but only care about the status of each step.
