Edit draft form

When you redirect from Create draft dialog or My drafts to edit a draft, you will see a form containing many fields for the draft like a Jira issue.

Field validation for saving the draft

In the Edit draft form, only Summary, Project and Issue type are required fields for saving the draft.

 

Field validation for converting to Jira issue

When the Jira admin configure fields for an issue type, he may set some fields as required. That means the users must provide a value for those fields before creating a Jira issue with that issue type. It’s same rule for converting a draft to Jira issue.

Draft tree sidebar

The left sidebar is presenting the drafts in parent-child relationship for the current edited draft, which is based on Epic → Issue → Subtask hierarchy. If the draft you are editing is parent or child of other draft, then its parent or child will be displayed in the sidebar.

Field navigation sidebar

The right sidebar is to help user to navigate to any field quickly.
