Convert draft to Jira issue

When you are comfortable with the content of draft, you can convert it to a real Jira issue which will be visible to other people.

Convert a draft to Jira issue

The button “Convert to issue” will allow you to convert the current draft and its child drafts.

If you select the checkbox “Delete draft after conversion”, the draft and its child drafts will be deleted once the converting is done successfully. You can still find the deleted drafts from “Deleted drafts” page and restore them.

Validation on converting draft to issue

If any fields of the current draft or its child drafts are required but have no values, the converting will fail with the validation messages.

Links for the converted Jira issues

Once the converting is done successfully, it will give the links for the converted Jira issues.
