Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Shinetech Software ("we", "us") collects, accesses, and processes information in connection with Easy Bulk Tools for Confluence Cloud (the "App").

How we secure the App is covered in the Security Policy.

Who this applies to

This policy covers:

people who install or use the App in Confluence Cloud
technical and billing contacts on the Atlassian Marketplace listing

The App runs on Atlassian Forge in the customer's Confluence Cloud tenant. We do not operate a separate application server that stores Confluence page bodies.

Information the App processes

Confluence content and user context

To search and run bulk operations, the App reads and updates pages and blog posts through Confluence Cloud APIs. That can include titles, body storage, labels, macros, watches, restrictions, space and page identifiers, and the account IDs of people or groups you select for a restriction change.

This processing happens in the signed-in user's Forge context. Bulk changes still respect each user's Confluence permissions. The App does not ask end users for Atlassian passwords or Personal Access Tokens.

App operational data

We store the following in Atlassian-hosted Forge storage (including Forge SQL), in the customer's Atlassian Cloud context:

search-index metadata used to find content in the Workbench
task history and per-item results for bulk jobs
App settings, including administrator access controls

We do not copy Confluence page bodies to infrastructure that we operate outside Atlassian Forge.

Licensing, billing, and Marketplace analytics

Personal information required for licensing and billing is collected and processed by Atlassian and is governed by the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use and the Atlassian Privacy Policy. Shinetech Software has access to personal and billing information as part of the reporting and analytics features Atlassian provides to Marketplace vendors.

We may use that information to analyse and improve our Atlassian apps, and to contact you about service updates for apps where you are listed as the technical contact.

Google Analytics is used by Atlassian to collect usage information on Atlassian Marketplace listing pages. Shinetech Software may receive that analytics data from Atlassian. We do not control how Atlassian collects, stores, or processes it.

Cookies

The App's Workbench is a Forge Custom UI that runs in Confluence. It relies on the Atlassian session of the signed-in user. We do not set our own third-party advertising or tracking cookies in the App.

Cookies on marketplace.atlassian.com are governed by Atlassian.

Sharing

We do not sell End-User Data. We do not share App-processed Confluence content with third-party sub-processors outside Atlassian Forge for the Cloud App.

Atlassian hosts the Forge platform and Confluence Cloud. Their processing is described in Atlassian's privacy and trust documentation.

Retention

App operational data remains in the customer's Atlassian Cloud site while the App is installed. After uninstall, Forge-hosted App data is removed according to Atlassian's Forge data-retention behaviour for uninstalled apps. Licensing and Marketplace records follow Atlassian's retention practices.

Your choices

Site administrators control who may install the App and who may run bulk edits, content operations, and delete. Individual users can stop using the App and, where Confluence allows, change watches and restrictions they control.

For access, correction, or deletion requests related to Marketplace billing or technical-contact data, contact us using the address below. Requests about Confluence content itself should be handled in the customer's Confluence site.
