Issue Status Check Step

Issue Status Check Step is used to monitor when the specified issues achieve the required status. You can specify fixed issues or filter issues by conditions.

Summary

Usage of Issue Status Check Step

A To Do Task step is displayed as one readonly row in the Issue View Panel. It is just displaying the linked issues within this step.

Add an Issue Status Check Step

Choose “Issue Status Check” from the dropdown “Add New Step/Group” to add a Issue Status Check step.

Select Status to Match

You can select one or more status for matching purpose.

Add Issues Manually

Select the option “Fixed Issues“ for the field Issue Source. Input the key of issue or keyword to search issues.

And then select the issue to add it into the list. You can add issues from other projects.

Add Issues by Conditions

You can select conditions to filter issues when you select “Filter by Conditions” for the field Issue Source. You must select at least one condition to make this work.

When the conditions are selected, it will load the issues that satisfied the conditions in the list.

Check Issue Matched status in the Issue View Panel

Because we selected the Done staus for the field of Status to Match, so the issues that are done will be marked with a checked flag in the issue list of the Issue Status Check step.

Check the Step Completed status in the Issue View Panel

When all issues of the Issue Status Check step are matched with the specified status, this step will be marked with a checked flag in the step list. At this point of the last issue is matched, an notification email will be sent to asignee, reporter and watchers of this issue.

Email notification

The email notification for Issue Status Check step is triggered when the status of all the specified issues of the step are matched or changed from matched to unmatched.
