To Do Task Step is used for some miscellaneous tasks that people wouldn't to create Jira issues for them. It is like a simple check list item.

Usage of To Do Task Step
A To Do Task step is displayed as one row in the Issue View Panel. User can simply complete or undo it.
Add a To Do Task Step
Expand/Collapse the description area
Click the icon on the right of the step row to expland the description area. Click it again to collapse the description area. This icon will be invisible if there is no description for this step.
